Some of the board of directors include Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio), Jason Feinburg (MIT Instructor), Malachi Nathan (Queen Latifah, King Ernest), William Busch (MIT Business) to name a few. We have been so booked that we deceided to make Dreamcatcher our main website. | December 23, 2003: Happy New Year | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Hey there! Well if you have been noticing the studio has been operating in full force. The new Dark Angel project is going off and in full production after the Christmas break. We are very excited to be able to produce some new music from a Thrash Metal legend. We are very sure that the masses will be happy with the new music. The response to the live webcam has been blowing everyone away with over 85,000 hits to the live streaming cam in just under a week. Thanks to everyone that has supported our webcam and the mighty Dark Angel. One of our other projects has been delivered to Hollowpoint Management and looks real good for the band to be signing a European Major label contract with the project that Tamitha has produced and arranged with the band. Shaun from Hollowpoint will be distributing the CD at the Midem conferance in France in January. The EBE album should also be completed early next year so we can concentrate on DFA and Spiral Planet projects. We will begin offering DVD services early next year and will be doing full DVD production with Menus, interactive interfaces, and graphics for professional DVDs. Artists that are interested in any music or video services, check out the Dreamcatcher Studio Page Thats about all I can say now except we want to wish everyone a Happy Hollidays and a Very Good New Years. Danyael & Tamitha

| October 22, 2003: Major Studio Facelift | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| We have completely remodeled the studio and the control room. We have been working with Bob Kulick (Kiss, Meatloaf, Grand Funk Railroad) and Bruce Boulliet and after seeing how thier studio was renovated by Bill Buford (Yes) it gave us new ideas on how to improve our own acoustic renovations, making mixing and mastering sound even better than before. We will have pictures up shortly. Our Enhanced CD makes a big splash at this years PopKomm Convention as we still work with top management firms and several new record labels, making enhanced CDs that are being distributed throughout Europe courtesy of PopKomm. There are some big producers on the CD with our Video as one of the features on the disk, we will begin working with artists in Europe for some of thier video shoots. Artists that are interested for any music or video services, check out the Dreamcatcher Studio Page for complete details.Piece

| July 21, 2003: Studio open and in full force | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| We have done some renovations to the Haunted Garage with new lights and cameras to improve our already great looking concert room. If you have noticed we have done a few concert webcasts already and have some new videos up on the Channel MV Page with some DSL quality music videos also. We have been working closely with management companies and record labels in doing artist developement for some clients and plan on integrating this full-time into our services offered for artists and clients. We now have a full graphic arts department, music business consultants as well as a publicist working with the studio to make the job of the managers easier for them to shop their artists to record labels. Once again if any of you artists are interested in the studio check out the Dreamcatcher Studio Page for complete details and pricing for concert webcasts, video production and recording rates.
Thanks for the support.

| Well its been six months now and we have deceided that it was time to once again open our doors and start doing recording and video projects. We have been real busy working our studio for ourselves and have built up quite a reputation doing live sound and video. We have got so many requests to start working with artists and do live webcasts and more studio recording projects. If you have noticed we are doing the live cam once again for Dark Angel rehearsals.
When we start touring again then of course the studio will be taking a break.
Thanks again for all the support and we will see you in the funny papers

| First off. Tamitha Passed her thesis and now has her PhD in Space physics...YEA!!! I want to thank everyone that has contributed to our cause and help make Studiocam a huge success. This site has been alot of fun for all the artists involved in the past. Please stick around and tune in periodically for changes as we expand the studio and bring everyone some brand new shows and concerts. If you have some thoughts on the site or you want to perform here in our studios be sure to send me a post or something. Dont be shy, you probably have a good idea and we listen to everything that artists submit. What can I expect to see? Expect to see live concerts, shots in the control room as artists record, interviews with the bands and with us (the makers), live rehearsals, live Dance TV with DJs spinning from around the world, some crazy new radio shows, and anything else that we can come up with. What can I expect to hear? C'mon, this is a professional recording studio. Expect to hear some really good music. Our band roster currently crosses through all genres and we accept material from around the world. So sit back surf around the site and Oh Yea, Have Fun..... Peace :) Danyael | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| January 1, 2002 Happy New Year! | Well if you were paying attention for the last couple of years you might have figured out that we are a bunch of overcomitted Producers and Engineers who just happen to love music and think the World music scene has been overloaded by its own *hype*. So instead of sitting on our asses waiting for the record companies to re-invent themselves we've decided to go on without them. There is literally a ton of mind-blowing music that the world has to offer and we're going to help bring it to you. |

| Dance TV Rules The Airwaves! as the show is bigger than ever and getting more popular each day with over 10,000 hits daily thanks to Alien-D and all the fine DJs that continue to spin Live on Dance TV!
Things are going strong for the studio as we have started the webcasts and had a great time with our first band back after the re-modeling of the studio, Georgie Pie a great Blues Rock band was on tour from Toyko Japan and stopped in for a live show and everyone had a great time and is our featured webcast so check it out.
Tamitha has completely upgraded the site with sure stream and we have a new Real Player set-up and more broadband so we can stream to over a million viewers at once. We have secured all the deals to start producing the Live Enhanced CDs with music videos as we are working with Inhale Music Company to get the CD's out to as many music channels and Radio Stations possible so all the artists will have the best promotions around the world for the Free music CD give-aways. We are continuing with the live concert webcasts and all artists are encouraged to send in thier press packages for inclusion in future concerts. If you need any other info on the Enhanced CDs or Webcasts just give us a shout and we will get back to you ASAP.

Well we have survived the fire and got everything cleaned up. We still need to get some of the equipment that we lost back but that will come in time. | We have got some very cool sponsors to work on the promotions for the site as well as making sure we are in the top of the search engines. As of last March we have switched servers and went to Sure Stream for broadband connections and it has paid off. We are averaging about 10,000 hits a day when we are live with the Radio and Dance TV shows. Febuary 28, 2001
| If you have not heard then let me tell you that we had a fire in the studio room where we have all our bands perform. We lost most of our PA gear and we had severe smoke damage to most of our band gear as well. This happened just after New Years and it has takin us three months to clean and repair the damage. We are back up and running live with Radio TV until we can replace our PA equipment. | We have some new DJs and some very cool shows coming in the future and we are now approaching some sponsors so we can continue to provide free concerts and Radio to all the artists. We won a Golden Web Award for 2001-2002 for website content and design and nominated for a Webby to be held in Las Vegas in November so please keep on voting and we will nab one of these awards. Thanks to all the people who have helped us make it through the last few months and donated time and money and equipment. If it was not for you then we would have folded "Andrew Browning" "The Assholes", "2Stone Drunk", "Rebel Rebel", "Madareus", "MFT", "Wretched of the Earth", "Surf the Black" and all the bands who wanted us to continue the dream of Indie Promotion and Concert Webcasts. Peace Out!!!

A special thank you goes out to DaBelly.com this month for taking time to come out and do a feature on Studiocam.org.
If you havent checked it out yet, its quite well written and really gives you the skinny on what we do here. Another big thank you goes out to Fran Ashcroft and
Vitaminic.com for working with our promotions department, our label, and especially our artists to bring
worldwide distribution and exposure to the talent that has graced our stage. Soon some of these videos will be appearing on Vitaminic's web site so you artists out there
who have played for us, get those contracts off to Vitaminic ASAP, and you artists who havent yet played for us, what are you waiting for?
| Speaking more about videos, all our TV channels have been updated again, including new music videos on Channel MV and new DJs on Radio and Dance TV. We nabbed some studio grade video editing gear since August and it has resulted in more visually stunning videos for us all to watch and enjoy. You probably have noticed the video player has also gotten a makeover. Let me know if you love it, hate it or have suggestions on what we could improve. What next? Expect new DSL videos to appear in the next few weeks. I have them ready, I just need the time to get them online. Also soon we will start doing video reviews of artists' CDs on the Artist Channel. We receive so many submissions from all over the U.S. that we have decided this might be the best way to review content in a timely manner. Be sure to stay tuned as we work out the particulars of this, the newest facet of what we do here. Last But Not Least. A shout out to the band 2 Stone Drunk for being marvelous electricians and re-wiring our studio so we never have to blow another
breaker ever again! Be sure to check out their video on Channel MV in which you will witness the power going out on us as they play! (Its when the video goes black but you still hear sound-- its a hoot!)

Let me summarize the last few months as concisely as possible: We introduced several of our TV Channels in June. Later that month we switched to our current SoTotallyTV.com format, which includes 5 different TV channels of real media content. Thus far our shows range from live concerts and music videos to webjays, trancers, and mixers. We also have a channel completely dedicated to colorful talk shows and interviews with your favorite artists. Now you can see behind the music and listen to the thoughts and attitudes of the groups that perform on our stage.
| Beginning in July, we finally began to broadcast our live shows with broadband connections and now in August, we are beginning to work with The Orchard to help promote independent bands and hook them up with management and distribution. Starting the 13th of this month, look for some larger indie talent to grace our stage including Epitaph and Skunk Records recording artists and a band that spends much of its time shooting scenes on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
| May 14, 2000
We are trying desperately to keep up with all that is going on. We are booked completely through June and into July already so look for those schedules to be up soon. We have joined forces with several new companies including Bands411.com and IonBroadcasting.com and will soon launch a new website called SototallyTV.com. One thing we plan to do on the new site is create more channel content like we have on Channel MV. If you havent checked out this new addition to studiocam.org yet, please do and tell us what you think! We will also be getting our radio station "All Things Radio" up and going 24-7 so you will always hear good music. Stay tuned for these and LOTS more NEW developments!

If you have been paying attention recently you already know that we have expanded our range of performances to include the unique world of "Web-Jays" (Web-Js). These are like DJs except that you get to see them as well as hear great music. We have teamed up with some local Web-Js and Radio Sonus is the result. Check the schedule often because Radio Sonus is on several times a week featuring Sonus himself, along with Web-Js Logo, Danny the Impaler, DJ Dave, Minus, DJ Sister, and perhaps Andrew from the internet radio station Kbeach.org (CSU Long Beach). As for new band concerts, a cool rap group The Prophet has recently graced our stage and soon we will be hooking up with Mike from Bands411.com to showcase some of the great talent he represents! We have had so much incredible talent come through here recently I have had to add another page to our picture archive. Stay tuned. It looks like its going to be a great summer!

I have made some serious changes to both the webcasts and live cam pages. A big 'thank you' to those who have made suggestions as to how to make viewing choices simpler and more accessible. Also I have added a concert archive to the webcasts page so be sure to check there periodically to see which webcasts we are rebroadcasting. Since many of you are on the other side of the world from us, we have made sure to add showtimes that occur early enough for you to view them. A new Grumbletummy video has been added to the webcast gallery-- made especially for the ZDTV show 'U Made it' (thank you Shannon for requesting it!) so be sure to tell us what you think-- and for those die hard Grumbletummy fans, I promise we will step out from behind the camera, into the limelight, and do a concert webcast for you soon.

Several new bands have joined our webcast gallery this month including Los Borrachos and LAO. Be sure to check out their music videos. Thanks to everyone who keeps tuning in and telling us what they think. By the way-- we got a write up in a local Los Angeles Music magazine! Our sincerest thanks to Rock City News and Blade!

Thanks to all who tuned in for the RAKIT webcast on 12-18-99. If you missed it I have gotten their music video up in our video gallery so check it out! I have also added a new page to our picture gallery that includes shots from Criminal Damage, Another Lost Cause, Los Borrachos, and Rakit.

| December 5, 1999
Two new artists will be joining us this month, an industrial band called Rakit and a hard rock band called Los Barachos. Check out the Artists page for new music and the schedule for new broadcasts. I have been promising to re-broadcast some of our sessions and I will get those up sometime this month. Look for a Criminal Damage rebroadcast as well as one from Another Lost Cause.
|
| November 18, 1999
Just got the Criminal Damage MP3 up so that those of you who missed their concert webcast can hear a final product. The guitar player co-produced the song. Can you tell?
I will get their music video up sometime next week. A re-broadcast of their mixing session and/or their concert is also in the works. Stay tuned.

| November 1, 1999
So now that Halloween is over, we are back to doing what we are supposed to and that is to broadcast concerts and sessions and such. For all of those who tuned in for the Halloween phenomena we thank you. We had over 600 kids this year (much more than expected) and within the week I will put up 2 halloween videos so you can catch some of the excitement if you missed it. | As for bands this month, we have some that have been waiting since October to play, including two new Oi! (meaning "ska") bands so get ready because we are broadcasting starting this thursday!
| October 4, 1999
We included a new "Webcasts" page today dedicated totally to our live concert broadcasts. We plan soon to start doing concert-parties at Dreamcatcher in which we will have several bands in to do full live sets. In preparation for this we are currently painting the large rehearsal room. Next it will be decorated in a gothic/halloween type theme for the upcoming concerts. We will be sure to broadcast the evolution of the room over the next month so watch for the changes. Other site updates include more videos and pictures, and the live cam page gets a new look.
|
| September 21, 1999
We have finally got Live Video up and running using Real Networks Real Server. The video is accessible via the G2 Real player and though we dont really have a good system of archiving live performances yet,
I will be sure to figure out something soon. If we are streaming live with sound then the link on the front page and on the livecam page will work. Otherwise check the "Webcam Server Push" links or "20-Second Refresh" images.
We probably will have some form of video running from 16:00 PST to 23:00 PST on weekdays.
|
| August 1, 1999
It just so happens that we have a professional digital recording studio to help us do this. With any luck if you take a look at our live shot, you will find me in the control room pounding the keys late into the evening as I continue to set this whole thing up.
| Where are we now? As of now we are scheduling bands to come in and do "live" sessions. Within the next week or so Ill post a schedule so you can tune in when the bands are here. What can I expect to see? Expect to see live shots in the control room, interviews with the bands and with us (the makers), live rehearsals, and other cool stuff. What can I expect to hear? C'mon, this is a recording studio. Expect to hear good music. Our band roster currently crosses through these genres:
